Dip a toe in Improv and get those mind wheels going!

This is a class geared towards 55+. We will be doing exercises and playing games to stimulate the brain and work those creative muscles. We will work at the pace of the group and every exercise will be able to be modified to be done standing or sitting. Work with your peers to create stories, environments and light scene work. We will laugh and play together and discover the joy in collaborating together as a group.

Jaime Rich is Executive Director of Spontaneous Mind, a non-profit organization that utilizes improv to improve creativity, collaboration and innovation. She has taught all around the Bay for about three years. She has taught all levels of students from beginners to advanced. She teaches through Acalanes Adult Ed., Martinez Adult Ed, Mt. Diablo Adult Ed, Pleasant Hill Recreation and she also teaches at Lawrence Livermore National Lab. She also teaches specialized workshops on her own. She has taught many a class where the median age is 70-80 years old and has morphed her curriculum accordingly. She teaches at two Carlton senior living facilities. She is also a player in, producer of and creative director of ACT II Improv.
