“GenderBender??? … I Barely Know Her!!” is a 4-part, 90-minute workshop series that uses improv, play, and creative expression to explore gender as performance. Through grounding practices, intentional discussion, and a series of interactive games, participants will experiment with gender roles, voices, characters, and drag to uncover new possibilities for self-expression. Each session combines embodied activities with group reflection, encouraging participants to notice moments of gender euphoria, challenge stereotypes, and imagine expansive ways of being. Drawing from improv theater and liberation psychology, this series creates a supportive space to play, laugh, and reflect together while honoring the cultural and historical roots of gender performance.
