This month we’re shining the spotlight on Devin, a queer screenwriter turned improviser who proves that great storytelling doesn’t always need a script. After years of crafting dialogue for the page, he’s taken the leap into creating it live on stage—armed with nothing but sharp wit, a “yes, and” spirit, and an enviable rotation of band T-shirts.

Recently relocated to Scotland to get a graduate degree in screenwriting (because honestly, take us with you!) (jk we can't stomach haggis), Devin has quickly become a cherished part of our community and we miss him. His playful energy, generous scene work, and welcoming vibe make him the kind of performer you’re always glad to share a stage with.

Whether he’s building a world from scratch or just finding the perfect punchline, Devin reminds us all why we fell in love with improv in the first place: it’s about joy, connection, and saying yes to the unexpected (again, not Haggis).
